Individual ASL Membership
Anyone interested in the activities of the Association is encouraged to become a member. Membership is on a calendar year basis. The benefits of membership include personal subscriptions to the current volumes of The Journal of Symbolic Logic, The Review of Symbolic Logic, and The Bulletin of Symbolic Logic, and receipt of the quarterly ASL Newsletter mailing.
A discounted introductory rate is available to new regular members of the Association for the first two consecutive years of membership (US$44 in 2012 and 2013). Dues may also be paid for up to 3 additional years (through 2016) at the current full $US88 rate.
For renewing members, dues can be paid for up to five years in advance at the current (2011) membership rate of US$82 per year. Payment may be made using Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover, or by check in US dollars drawn on a US bank.
Student ASL Membership
Student members receive the same benefits as individual members, but pay reduced membership dues. Student membership is $44 per year; no future dues payments are permitted. Application for student membership requires certification of your status as a regularly enrolled student or candidate for an advanced degree, from your Department Chair or Thesis Supervisor. Payment may be made using Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover, or by check in US dollars drawn on a US bank.
Unemployed ASL Membership
Unemployed members
receive the same benefits as individual members, but pay reduced membership
dues. Unemployed membership is $44 per year; no future dues payments are
permitted. Application for Unemployed membership requires certification.

Retired ASL Memberships
Retired members in good standing of the Association who have been members for twenty (20) years or since 1937 may, upon retirement from active service and upon written request to the Secretary, have their dues remitted. Retired members would not receive the Journals but would receive the ASL Newsletter and would have the right to vote.
Emeritus ASL Memberships
A new category of Emeritus membership has been established for retired individuals who have been members of the Association for at least fifteen (15)years, the dues for which are set at 50% of regular membership dues; Emeritus members receive the same benefits as a regular ASL member. Dues for Emeritus members can be paid for up to five years in advance at the current (2012) membership rate of $44 per year. Payment may be made using Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover, or by check in US dollars drawn on a US bank.
